Building Community

Life Skills Training

Our life skills training classes offer a chance for us to connect directly with the young adults we serve, building a sense of trust and community. These casual meetings are either virtual or in-person and may include teaching some life skill, a fun activity like an outdoor hike, or just checking in with each other. Cooking night is our most popular night, where we provide the attendees with grocery gift cards and cook a recipe together.

We are also building a Resources page for these young adults with educational materials (videos and documents about important life skills) and contact information (programs and resources) they can access whenever they need to.
